Pells Keeper School Winter Camp 2016

Pells Keeper School (PKs) is a great way for the serious goalkeeper to sharpen their goalkeeping skills during the off season. PKs staff provides a formal introduction to tactical positioning and shot stopping techniques to improve the keeper’s knowledge of the position.

PKS provides 12 hours of structured training that will develop the keepers confidence and the goalkeeping abilities as well as the tools necessary to improve each day.

PKS challenges the keepers to come prepared for a demanding program that is designed to help each keeper access the hidden qualities in them that make each keeper unique and special.

PKS staff consist of the University of Maryland goalkeepers, former Division I goalkeepers, current professional goalkeepers and full time goalkeeper coaches working for local clubs in the area. Each coach has worked my camps in the past and are aware of the demands of the camp and the curriculum of the week. I take a hands-on approach in the training of the keepers to insure they are receiving a quality learning experience that can help improve their game performance.

Space is limited, each session will have a maximum of a 7:1 player to coach ratio so that each keeper gets the attention that is needed to master the curriculum. Groups are based on skill level.

Curriculum

• Monday: Positioning / Angle play. Shot stopping/Stations Goalkeeper fitness
• Tuesday: Footwork Breakaways
• Wednesday: 3-goal situation, crosses in box with pressure, Highballs
• Thursday: Tipping, low ball shots, PK'S

Camp is $250 for the whole week; Or prorated based on your HS schedule.

All four days attending receive a Pells Keeper School long sleeved camp shirt. Please indicate what size you want.

If you come for 1-3 days you can purchase the shirt for $20, also indicate which days you are attending and include the $20 in you payment.

****Cancelation policy - More than 10 days before camp, full refund less $50 for registration fee. Any cancelations less than a week, loss of payment. If injured before camp, it will be dealt case by case basis.
